By Dr. Mercola

Australia's Commonwealth Scientific and Industrial Research

Organization (CSIRO)

has developed a type of genetically modified (GM) wheat that may silence
human genes, leading to disastrous health consequences.

Last year, University of Canterbury Professor Jack Heinemann released
results from genetic research he conducted on the wheat, which showed with
“no doubt” that molecules created in the wheat, which are intended to silence
wheat genes to change its carbohydrate content, may match human genes and
potentially silence them.

University Professor Judy Carman agreed with Heinemann's analysis,

stating in Digital Journal:

"If this silences the same gene in us that it silences in the wheat -- well,
children who are born with this enzyme not working tend to die by the age of
about five.”

Over 770 Pages of Potential Genetic Matches

Heinemann reported that his research revealed over 770 pages of potential
matches between two GM genes in the wheat and the human genome. Over a
dozen matches were “extensive and identical and sufficient to cause silencing
in experimental systems,” he said.

Experts warned that eating the wheat could lead to significant changes in
the way glucose and carbohydrates are stored in the human body, which could
be potentially deadly for children and lead to serious illness in adults.

Since this adverse effect is extremely plausible, long-term studies are
needed before the wheat is released into the environment and the human food
chain – but a new review states that the risks are still not being adequately
assessed.

A New 'Breed' of GM Crops

RNA is one of three major macromolecules, like DNA. Double-stranded RNA
(dsRNA) is responsible for regulating well over one-third of human genes.

In a new risk assessment, Heinemann and colleagues explained that while
all commercial GM plants are currently created through in vitro DNA
modification typically to create a new protein, a “growing minority” are
designed to change their RNA content in order to regulate gene expression.

The technique, known as RNA interference or RNA knockdown, essentially
turns off or “knocks down” certain genes. It was first used commercially in
1994 for the development of the Flavr Savr tomato, which was later withdrawn
from the market, and has been applied in various GM crops since. As reported
in The Atlantic:

"Researchers have been using this phenomena to their advantage in the
form of small, engineered RNA strands that are virtually identical to RNA. In
a technique called RNA interference, or RNA knockdown, these small bits of
RNA are used to turn off, or 'knock down,' certain genes.

RNA knockdown was first used commercially in 1994 to create the Flavr
Savr, a tomato with increased shelf life. In 2007, several research teams
began reporting success at engineering plant RNA to kill insect predators, by
knocking down certain genes. As reported in MIT's Technology Review on
November 5, 2007, researchers in China used RNA knockdown to make:

'...cotton plants that silence a gene that allows cotton bollworms to
process the toxin gossypol, which occurs naturally in cotton. Bollworms that
eat the genetically engineered cotton can't make their toxin-processing
proteins, and they die.'

And: 'Researchers at Monsanto and Devgen, a Belgian company, made
corn plants that silence a gene essential for energy production in corn
rootworms; ingestion wipes out the worms within 12 days.' Humans and insects
have a lot in common, genetically. If miRNA can in fact survive the gut then
it's entirely possible that miRNA intended to influence insect gene
regulation could also affect humans."

The Risks of GM Crops Containing dsRNA

According to Heinemann’s analysis, dsRNA-mediated silencing is becoming
the basis of novel traits in GM plants, including biopesticides and altered
nutritional characteristics. “Changing the nature, kind and quantity of
particular regulatory-RNA molecules through genetic engineering can create
biosafety risks,” the review reported, noting that, “we find evidence that
the risks are not considered by some regulators.” They continue:

“While some GMOs have been designed to make new dsRNA molecules, in
other GMOs such molecules may occur as a side-effect of the genetic
engineering process. Still others may make naturally-occurring dsRNA
molecules in higher or lower quantities than before.

Some dsRNA molecules can have profound physiological effects on the
organism that makes them. Physiological effects are the intended outcomes of
exposure to dsRNA incorporated into food sources for invertebrates;
biopesticides and other topically applied products, and could be the cause of
off-target effects and adverse effects in non-target organisms.

A daunting outcome is raised, that each [dsRNA] formulation might
have its own risks.…Production of intended dsRNA molecules may also have
off-target effects due to silencing genes other than those intended.

Unanticipated off-target adverse effects can be difficult to detect and they
are not possible to reliably predict using bioinformatics techniques.

Regulatory bodies are not adequately assessing the risks of dsRNA-producing
GM products. As a result, we recommend a process to properly assess the
safety of dsRNA-producing GM organisms before they are released or
commercialized.”

Risks of RNAs of Plant Origin Already Uncovered

One type of dsRNA is microRNA (miRNA). MicroRNA are basically small
pieces of RNA that interact with your genes, essentially stopping certain
genes from being expressed. MiRNA exists in human body fluid naturally;
however, microRNA also exists in plants, and research has shown that eating
the wrong plants may transfer this plant miRNA to humans -- with potentially
devastating implications.

The study, published in 2011, determined that microRNA from cooked plant
foods like rice, wheat and potatoes can in fact collect in your blood and
tissue, leading to a number of potential health problems. The study further
revealed that microRNA remains completely stable after not only cooking, but
through the digestion process as well. Most importantly, the researchers
found a significant quantity of microRNA in the human body, concluding that:

"… plant miRNAs are primarily acquired orally, through food intake."

MicroRNA has been widely shown to alter many critical biological
processes, including apoptosis – the process of programmed cell death and DNA
fragmentation. As a result, the dysregulation of microRNAs has been linked to
cancer and various other diseases. And, as noted, plant miRNA has been shown
to interfere with human microRNA by mimicking it and binding to the
receptors, and also potentially through alterations in gene expression.

Most Consumers Unaware of GMO Risks

The biotech industry, led by Monsanto, is increasing their propaganda
efforts to reshape their public image, and sway your opinion against the need
to label GM foods. As The Atlantic reported:

“Given its opposition to the labeling of GM foods… it seems clear
that Monsanto wants you to close your eyes, open your mouth, and swallow."

Indeed, many consumers are still in the dark about the very real risks
that GM crops pose. The Canadian news station CBC News recently reported that
despite warnings that GM foods could destroy the environment and pose risks
to agricultural diversity, most Canadians have “no strong views on the
matter.” Andreas Boecker, an associate professor at the University of Guelph
who has researched consumer acceptance of GM foods, told CBC News:

"These concerns among farmers and informed groups of consumers do not
translate to the average consumer. They are too far removed from the concerns
of the farming community… And if you go by shopping behavior most foods that
they buy have some share of GMOs."

This is precisely what the biotech industry wants, even as increasing
research demonstrates GM crop dangers. One recent study found that rats fed a
type of genetically engineered corn that is prevalent in the US food supply
for two years developed massive mammary tumors, kidney and liver damage, and
other serious health problems. This was at dietary amounts of about 10percent. Does
10 percent or more of your diet consist of GM ingredients?

At present, you can't know for sure, since GM foods are not labeled in
the US. But chances are, if you eat processed foods, your diet is chock full
of GM ingredients you didn't even know about – causing equally unknown
consequences to your health.

Thank You Dr. Mercola

By Dr. Mercola

A story that should serve as a wakeup call to all American parents

is currently making headline news: A Staten Island kindergartner has been barred
from attending school because she hasn’t been vaccinated against chickenpox—
even though her pediatrician refuses to vaccinate her on grounds that it may
endanger the health of her baby sister.

Chickenpox is caused by the varicella zoster virus, which is a member of
the herpes virus family and is associated with herpes zoster (shingles).

While highly contagious, it typically produces a mild disease
characterized by small round lesions on your skin that cause intense itching
that lasts for two to three weeks. Recovery leaves a child with long-lasting
immunity.

The case of Frankie Wagner is a disturbing reminder of how far the US
government is going in its illogical pursuit of maximizing vaccine adherence.

US public health officials say your child should receive 69 doses of 16
different vaccines before age 18. And, believe it or not, Big Pharma has 145
more vaccines in the pipeline.

Many homeowners pay property taxes that are directly allocated for the
public schools, but it is clear our government is willing to take this money
even though your children may not utilize the educational services if they
don't keep up with the medical procedures dictated - 69 doses of vaccines
before they graduate!

Pediatrician’s Advice Ignored by Department of Education

According to Frankie’s mother, Elizabeth, the girl’s pediatrician does
not administer live virus vaccines, like varicella zoster vaccine, to
children in families with infants as they could contract vaccine strain
infections. The Wagner’s other daughter is only 14-weeks old and her
mother has good reason to suspect her baby daughter could have inherited
an immunodeficiency disease.

Elizabeth told NBC News:

"I don't care if it's a one in 3 million chance. I am not willing to
take the chance with my baby."

The family requested a medical exemption from the Department of Education
(DOE), which was denied even though Elizabeth herself has an immunodeficiency
disease that her baby girl may have inherited. The disease would increase the
baby’s vulnerability to contracting vaccine strain chickenpox from the live
virus vaccine, but tests to determine if she’s inherited immunodeficiency
cannot be performed until she’s one year old.

According to the DOE, the exemption was denied "after a thorough review
with the parent and the student's doctor."

Wisely, the Wagner’s are arranging for Frankie to be home schooled, but
this case should really serve as a wakeup call to parents everywhere. Is
forcing a child to get a vaccine to try to prevent a typically benign
childhood disease really worth the risk to other vulnerable family members,
and/or the child herself—especially when a child’s doctor has concluded that
the vaccine’s risks are likely to be greater than the benefits?

This new form of discrimination and segregation is well underway.

Denying Education to Force a Non-Essential Vaccine

Merck's chickenpox vaccine was approved for licensure in the US in 1995.
At that time, what had always been regarded as a relatively benign childhood
illness was suddenly reinvented as a life-threatening disease for which
children must get vaccinated or face dire health consequences.

Before the live virus chickenpox vaccine was recommended for all children
by the CDC and states started passing laws mandating that children get it to
attend school, most children acquired a natural, longer-lasting immunity to
chickenpox by age six. Before 1995, it was estimated that only 10 percent of
Americans over the age of 15 had not had chickenpox.

For 99.9 percent of healthy children, chickenpox is a mild disease without
complications. However, up to 20 percent of adults who get chickenpox
develop severe complications such as pneumonia, secondary bacterial
infections, and brain inflammation (which is reported in less than one
percent of children who get chickenpox). Most children and adults who develop
these serious complications have compromised immune systems or other health
problems.

Still, it is because chickenpox can be serious in adults that it is often
regarded as preferable to get it as a child, as opposed to later in adulthood.
It is estimated there were about 3.7 million cases of chickenpox annually
in the US before 1995, resulting in an average of 100 deaths (50
children and 50 adults). This hardly represents a dire, life-threatening
childhood disease that requires mandatory vaccination of all children...

Why Mandate a Risky Yet Ineffective Vaccine?

The chickenpox vaccine is made from live, attenuated (weakened) varicella
virus. Unlike the type of immunity acquired from experiencing the disease,
the vaccine provides only TEMPORARY immunity, and that immunity is not the
same kind of superior, longer lasting immunity you get when you recover
naturally from chickenpox.

It's important to realize that naturally recovering from chickenpox is
the ONLY way you can establish longer lasting immunity that will protect you
until you come in contact with younger children with chickenpox and are
asymptomatically boosted, which will not only reinforce your chickenpox
immunity but will also help protect you against getting a painful case of
shingles later in life. Merck has developed and is marketing a shingles
vaccine but that is an inferior solution.

Recent research has also cast major doubts on the effectiveness of the
chickenpox vaccine, which is now also associated with a rise in the numbers
of cases of shingles in older children and adults. As chickenpox vaccination
coverage has increased in the U.S., so has the incidence of shingles
increased—giving evidence for the risks associated with relying on vaccine-
acquired immunity. A review of the American varicella (chickenpox)
vaccination program, published just last year, concluded that the vaccine
has:

        Not proven to be cost-effective
        Increased the incidence of shingles

Failed to provide long-term protection from the disease it targets
chicken pox as vaccine efficacy was found to have declined well below 80
percent by 2002

Is less effective than the natural immunity that existed in the general
population before the vaccine was used on a widespread basis in the U.S.

Yet despite such damning evidence, and the health risks for the Wagner’s
youngest daughter, the DOE still believes vaccination is in the best interest
of everyone involved... In the Wagner case, the infant may have inherited an
immunodeficiency disease that would increase her susceptibility to the virus
in the vaccine. And the chickenpox vaccine is already associated with adverse
effects in one in 1,481 vaccinations.

Between March 1995 and July 1998, the federal Vaccine Adverse Events
Reporting System (VAERS) received 6,574 reports of health problems after
chickenpox vaccination. Four percent of reported adverse events (about 1 in
33,000 doses) involved serious health problems such as shock, encephalitis
(brain inflammation), and thrombocytopenia (a blood disorder), and 14 of the
6,574 chickenpox vaccine adverse event reports ended in death.

These are far higher odds of something going wrong than the one in three
million chance Mrs. Wagner said she wasn’t willing to take... Furthermore,
there are documented cases of accidental transmission of varicella vaccine
strain virus from a vaccinated child to other household contacts, including
transmission to a pregnant woman, so the concern the Wagner’s and their
pediatrician have is a real one.

Sun Exposure May Help Stop the Spread of Chickenpox

Interestingly enough, according to research published in 2011, data from
25 studies on the varicella-zoster virus, which causes chickenpox, shows a
clear link between UV levels and the prevalence of chickenpox. Chickenpox
rates are much lower in the tropics where exposure to sunlight is common
year-round. In temperate regions, chickenpox also tends to flare up more
often in the darker, cold-weather months. The authors speculate that UV
radiation can inactivate the virus, either within the lesions, or perhaps
after the lesions rupture.

The effect is likely two-fold. Not only is sunlight able to destroy many
viruses directly, it also enables your body to produce vitamin D, which gives
you anti-viral and immune-boosting benefits. If your child has been exposed
to chickenpox, a healthy dose of natural sunlight may be just what the doctor
ordered. However, sunlight exposure to active lesions may result in permanent
scarring, so it would be best to avoid sunshine during this phase.

Many are not aware that prior to the advent of antibiotics about 70 years
ago one of the only effective treatments for tuberculosis was sunlight. In
fact, many solariums were created specifically to treat TB with UV radiation.
Today, researchers are looking into the possibility of replacing antibiotics
with blue light therapy—especially for antibiotic-resistant infections.

Why We Must Fight to Protect Philosophical Exemption to Vaccination

Informed consent to medical risk taking is a human right. You have the
right to be fully informed about the benefits and risks of pharmaceutical
products – like vaccines - and be allowed to make a voluntary choice about
whether or not you decide to take the risk, without being punished for it.

More than $2.5 billion dollars has been awarded to children and adults in
America, who have been seriously injured by vaccines. Yet those rights are
increasingly being taken away from us.

For example, last year in Vermont, the legal right to take a vaccine
exemption for philosophical beliefs was threated with bills promoted by two
Vermont legislators, State Senator Kevin Mullin and State Representative
George Till. They joined with the Vermont Health Commissioner, Dr. Harry
Chen, to lead a crusade to take away philosophical exemption to vaccination
but the bills went down in defeat after supporters of the National Vaccine
Information Center (NVIC) and Vermont Coalition for Vaccine Choice educated
legislators and the public about the need to keep the philosophical exemption
from being stripped from Vermont public health laws.

In the following video, Barbara Loe Fisher of the NVIC interviews Nicole,
a Vermont mother, whose seven year old daughter, Kaylynne, died within 92
hours of a routine flu shot in December 2011. Nicole believes that parents
should be fully informed and able to make voluntary decisions about
vaccination for their children.

“If I would have known the reactions and symptoms of adverse
reactions to vaccination, I would have had her seen immediately. If I would
have known about the risks and symptoms, I would have been most likely able
to save my daughter,” said Nicole. “I feel that Vermonters need to be
educated and be able to make their own decisions on whether or not they want
to vaccinate their children and pediatricians and physicians, as well, need
to be more educated.”

While the NVIC led a successful effort with the Vermont parent group to
preserve the philosophical exemption to vaccination in Vermont last year,
legislators in Vermont are coming around again this session, attacking the
philosophical and religious exemptions to vaccination. They now want to pass
a law (HB138) that says that if vaccination rates in schools gets below 90
percent then both those exemptions will be suspended. VT legislators also
have introduced a bill that would require pertussis vaccinations for
childcare workers and teachers (HB 114).

Protect Your Right to Informed Consent and Defend Vaccine Exemptions

Needless to say, do your own research before making your decisions.
Interestingly, a recent article in Time Magazine reports that at least 95
percent of parents consult their “people networks” for advice on vaccines.
This is a trend that the vaccine industry takes quite seriously, and
according to one researcher, “changing parents’ attitudes about vaccines may
be a matter of influencing the people who are influencing parents in the
first place.” But it shouldn’t be about who can appeal to your senses or
emotions most effectively. It should be about getting to the truth, and
understanding the risks and benefits involved. According to the article:

“Parents who didn’t follow vaccination advice were also more likely
to have extensive 'source networks' — troves of books, websites and magazine
articles they turned to for vaccine-related information.”

While Time makes it sound as though parents who read extensively are
somehow reading the wrong material, I cannot think of a better way to get
informed about the multiple viewpoints. Also, with all the uncertainty
surrounding the safety and efficacy of vaccines, it's critical to protect
your right to informed consent to vaccination and fight to protect and expand
vaccine exemptions in state public health laws. The best way to do this is to
get personally involved with your state legislators and the leaders in your
community.

Thank You Dr. Mercola

           Continued From Last Post

Cancer is the disease Americans fear most.

6. Ditch Your Non-Stick Cookware

About 70 percent of the cookware sold in the US contains a non-stick
coating that contains PFOA (perfluorooctanoic acid) and other perfluorinated
compounds (PFCs), which are used to make grease-resistant food packaging
and stain-resistant clothing as well. Even though there are many names, if the
item in question is "non-stick" or "stain/grease resistant," it will
generally have some type of fluoride-impregnated coating that is best
avoided.

It's well documented that when non-stick pans are heated the coating
begins breaking down, releasing toxins into the air in your kitchen. When the
pan reaches 680 degrees F (which takes about three to five minutes of
heating), at least six toxic gases are released. At 1,000 degrees F, the
coatings on your cookware break down into a chemical warfare agent known as
PFIB. Research has revealed that these toxins can accumulate in your blood at
an alarming rate and may lead to chronic disease like cancer over time. You
can keep your exposure as low as possible by avoiding (or getting rid of)
products that contain PFCs. This includes:

Non-stick cookware (choose either ceramic or glass instead)

Microwave popcorn

Packaging for greasy foods (including paper and cardboard packaging)

Stain-proof clothing

Flame retardants and products that contain them

Stain-resistant carpeting, and fabric stain protectors

7. Drink Clear Pure Water

If you receive municipal water that is treated with chlorine or
chloramines, toxic disinfection byproducts (DBPs) form when these
disinfectants react with natural organic matter like decaying vegetation in
the source water. DBPs are over 10,000 times more toxic than chlorine, and
out of all the other toxins and contaminants present in your water, such as
fluoride and miscellaneous pharmaceutical drugs, DBPs are likely the absolute
worst of the bunch.

Already, it’s known that trihalomethanes (THMs), one of the most common
DBPs, are Cancer Group B carcinogens, meaning they’ve been shown to cause
cancer in laboratory animals. They’ve also been linked to reproductive
problems in both animals and humans, such as spontaneous abortion,
stillbirths, and congenital malformations, even at lower levels. A whole-
house filtration system is your best choice to remove chlorine, chloramine,
ammonia, DBPs and other contaminants from all of your water sources (bath,
shower and tap). If you don’t have the resources for a whole-house filtration
system at this time, there are a couple of other tricks you can try. At
FindaSpring.com you can identify local springs where you can get pure,
chloramine-free drinking water for a minimal cost. You can also try:11

Adding fruit, such as slices of peeled orange, to a 1-gallon water
pitcher, which will help neutralize chloramine in about 30 minutes

Dissolving a 1,000-mg vitamin C tablet into your bath water, which
will neutralize the chloramine in an average-size bathtub

8. Choose Organic and Locally Grown Food

Many pesticides and herbicides are potentially carcinogenic, and you may
be exposed to them when you eat conventionally grown produce and animal
products. The US Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) considers 60 percent
of herbicides, 90 percent of fungicides, and 30 percent of insecticides to be
carcinogenic, and most are also damaging to your nervous system as well. Some
of the pesticides/herbicides classified as probable or possible human
carcinogens by the EPA include:

Chlordane                   Heptachlor                  Tetrachlorvinphos

Carbaryl                     Propoxur                      Lindane

Dichlorvos                Phosmet                        Permethrin

The answer, of course, is to opt for organically grown produce and
organically raised, pastured animal products, which are raised without
chemicals and other potentially cancer-causing products, like rBGH (a
genetically engineered growth hormone commonly found in milk).

It's well known that conventionally grown fruits and vegetables are often
tainted with unacceptable levels of pesticide residues, but you're also
exposed when you eat animal products. Animals raised in confined animal
feeding operations (CAFO's) eat feed full of pesticides, and these toxins
accumulate in their flesh and fat over the course of their lifetimes. When
you eat factory-farmed meat, you then ingest these accumulated pesticides.

As for fresh produce, certain fruits and vegetables tend to be far more
contaminated than others, simply because they're more susceptible to various
infestations and therefore sprayed more heavily. Some foods are also more
"absorbent," with thin, tender skins. Such foods would be high on your list
for buying organic. The Environmental Working Group (EWG) produces an
annual shopper's guide to pesticides in produce12 that you can download. It
liststhe produce with the highest and lowest levels of pesticide residue, which
can help save you money if you can't afford to buy everything organic.

Choosing organically raised animal products is potentially even more
important, however, as animal products tend to bioaccumulate toxins from
their pesticide-laced feed, concentrating them to far higher concentrations
than are typically present in vegetables.

Fermented foods can be helpful here as well, as some of the beneficial
bacteria produced in fermented foods have been found to help detoxify
organophosphorus insecticide. A 2009 study13 showed that during the
fermentation of kimchi, the insecticide degraded rapidly until day 3, and had
degraded completely by day 9. Four lactic acid bacteria were identified as
being responsible for the effect, so regularly consuming fermented foods (or
alternatively a high-quality probiotic) may help you buffer some of the
damage that pesticide exposures can cause.

9. Skip the Canned Foods

Avoiding canned foods is perhaps your best way to avoid bisphenol-A
(BPA) – an endocrine-disrupting chemical linked to cancer and reproductive
and fetal development problems, among other health issues.

Though BPA is a widely used component of plastic containers, it’s also
found in food packaging and the inner lining of cans. Research from the
Harvard School of Public Health revealed that canned foods and beverages can
increase your BPA levels by a staggering 1,000 percent in a mere five days!
The lead researcher noted that given this finding, canned goods may be an
even greater contribution to your BPA levels than plastics.

Here are 10 tips to help reduce your exposure to BPA around the house:

Only use glass baby bottles and dishes for your baby

Use glass, ceramic, or stainless steel travel coffee mugs rather than
plastic or Styrofoam coffee cups.

Get rid of your plastic dishes and cups, and replace them with glass
varieties.

Avoid using plastic wrap (and never microwave anything covered in it)

Give your baby natural fabric toys instead of plastic ones

If you opt to use plastic kitchenware, at least get rid of the older,
scratched-up varieties, avoid putting them in the dishwasher, and don't wash
them with harsh detergents, as these things can cause more chemicals to leach
into your food

Store your food and beverages in glass containers

Avoid using bottled water; filter your own using a reverse osmosis filter
instead

IF you choose to use a microwave, don't microwave food in a plastic container

Before allowing a dental sealant to be applied to your, or your children's,
teeth, ask your dentist to verify that it does not contain BPA

10. Ditch Your Microwave

If you microwave your food in plastic containers, it can hasten the rate
at which potentially cancer-causing chemicals can leach into your food.

Additionally, microwaving creates new compounds that are not found in
humans or in nature, called radiolytic compounds. We don't yet know what
these compounds are doing to your body.

In addition to the violent frictional heat effects, called thermic effects,
there are also athermic effects, which are poorly understood becausethey are
not as easily measured. It is these athermic effects that aresuspected to be
responsible for much of the deformation and degradation ofcells and
molecules.15 As an example, microwaves are used in the field of gene-altering
technology to weaken cell membranes. Scientists use microwavesto actually
break cells apart. Impaired cells then become easy prey forviruses, fungi
and other microorganisms. You really CAN survive sansmicrowave—people
are living quite happily without one, believe it or not. Youjust have to make
a few small lifestyle adjustments, such as:

Plan ahead. Take your dinner out of the freezer that morning or the
night before so you don't end up having to scramble to defrost a 5-pound
chunk of beef two hours before dinnertime.

Make soups and stews in bulk, and then freeze them in gallon-sized
freezer bags or other containers. An hour before meal time, just take one out
and defrost it in a sink of water until it's thawed enough to slip into a
pot, then reheat it on the stove.

A toaster oven makes a GREAT faux-microwave for heating up leftovers!

Keep it at a low temperature — like 200-250 degrees F — and gently warm a
plate of food over the course of 20-30 minutes. Another great alternative is
a convection oven.

Prepare your meals in advance so that you always have a good meal
available on those days when you're too busy or too tired to cook.

Try eating more organic raw foods. This is one of the best ways to
improve your health over the long run.

Thank You Dr. Mercola
